Overview

Proximetry Poland ltd. is a  software manufacturer and a R&D branch of an American company Proximetry Inc. The flag product of the company is AirSync™, a high quality management system enabling dynamic management and control of heterogenic wireless networks. The newest version of AirSync™ is a platform supporting the creation of new applications and services based on the idea of Internet of Things – IoT, where digital devices and real-life objects communicate with each other.

AirSync™ was designed in the SaaS (Software as a Service) model in order to fulfil the requirements of Internet of Things, both when it comes to system scalability and data security. The architecture of the system enables the service of heterogenic networks consisting of millions of devices, while a web user’s interface makes it possible to manage such a network from any given location via a laptop, tablet or smartphone.

Software Quality Assurance Manager

 

Job description:

The person hired will partake in the processes of integration and testing of AirSync™ system, dedicated to managing an IoT (Internet of Things) network. The system is built as a set of services available in a cloud and requires the use of various testing methods both when it comes to functionality, efficiency and stability. The diversity of tasks makes the Quality Engineer’s work interesting and enriching. The person hired will also have the opportunity to program scripts for automated tests and get to know a number of thrilling aspects of IoT networks, such as prototype electronic devices, new wireless technologies or transmission protocols.

Requirements:

  • experience in software testing on a business level and/or a web user’s interface
  • good command of English
  • knowledge of testing automation tools, e.g. Selenium, JMeter and programming skills in Ruby or JavaScript are welcome
  • good knowledge of Linux
