PACIFICNET TO OFFER PROXIMETRY’S
ADVANCED AIRSYNC PERFORMANCE AND
NETWORK MANAGEMENT SOLUTION IN MEXICO

Ensures Robust, Reliable Wi-Fi/WiMAX Services For Carriers, Others

Mexico City, MX and San Diego, CA., December 1, 2008 – Proximetry, Inc., the technology leader in real-time network and performance management solutions for wireless networks, announced today that it has signed a partnership with PacificNet, a leading Mexican telecommunications technology provider, to sell, deploy, and support its AirSync performance and network management solution to meet increasing carrier demand for robust and reliable broadband WiFi and WiMAX services.  With AirSync’s active monitoring, closed loop feedback, and real-time adjustments, appropriate service levels are always maintained for all users resulting in a wireless network with the performance, scalability, and reliability typically found in carrier-class wireline networks.

“Our partnership with PacificNet will give Mexican carriers and others access to market leading network management and optimization for broadband wireless networks,” said Tracy Trent, Proximetry’s CEO.  “The result is lower operations cost coupled with incremental revenues from new, differentiated and mission critical service offerings. And this capability can be realized even with networks that use multiple frequencies, protocols and vendors.”

Proximetry’s AirSync enables PacificNet and its portfolio of technologies to be provisioned and service levels managed according to network policies and the real-time use and behavior of the network. Besides WiFi and WiMax network operators in Mexico, the companies plan to offer AirSync management solutions to vertical markets, municipalities, universities and other entities that need to maximize the use of their networks. Leveraging its partnership with Proximetry, and extensive market expertise, client base and partnerships with key broadband wireless equipment providers, PacificNet will be able to deliver a value added broadband wireless solution enabling carriers to better manage and optimize their limited wireless network resources.

“AirSync gives us the ability to offer a turnkey, carrier class broadband wireless solution to carriers and other service providers in Mexico,” said Angel Behar, president of PacificNet. “The result is that service providers will be better able to compete with next generation service offerings for additional revenues.”

Proximetry’s AirSync is leading real-time network and performance management solution for wireless networks. It offers performance management and network optimization for multiprotocol, multivendor networks giving operators the flexibility to deliver different business models and generate more revenue by optimizing the use of the available bandwidth.
