AirTegrity will license Proximetry's AirSync Enterprise Wireless Manager to integrate and support high performance, multi-protocol (802.11/802.16) networks. Together the companies will deliver WiMAX broadband connectivity solutions to metro-area wireless networks.
Proximetry's AirSync solution will provide device management, provisioning and performance optimization capabilities to support AirTegrity's WiMAX wireless broadband infrastructure equipment. The integrated solution will focus on enabling WiMAX connectivity for secure access to business-critical data and applications in enterprise and municipal environments.
The partnership will kick-off field testing to adapt AirTegrity's wireless technologies into a variety of environments such as public safety, energy, and transportation settings where access to performance critical applications such as voice, video, and telemetry services are crucial to business continuity.
